Octopus - 6 Sleeper

For excavators above 16-tonne

This model has proven to be the most popular. Able to lift and lay 6 sleepers it suits the mid range size of excavators above 16 ton. It is recommended that this attachment be used with a Tilt Rotating Head (or equivalent) for maximum efficiency and manoeuvrability

The 'Octopus' Concrete Sleeper Handler range has been designed to simplify and speed up the safe laying of concrete sleepers for rail and tram networks.

First designed in 2003 to meet a niche market it has proved itself as a reliable performer and has contributed to many hundreds of kilometres of new rail track.

The Octopus can be fitted with a 70 deg slew ring though it is recommended that this attachment be used with a Tilt Rotating Head for maximum efficiency and manoeuvrability.
